ashley & donny.

ashley first captured my heart when she was my mama-cat and sorority president while i was a freshman at tcu. she and donny have been together for 9 years! finally, they have set a date and will be making it official... 12...11...10... :)
congratulations to these two wonderful people. it was so fun prancing around town with you both. you're too cute!

katie - tcu senior.

congratulations to sweet katie on her upcoming graduation from tcu! katie and i got to catch up during her evening session. i gave katie my "i love the real world -- it's not as bad as everyone says it is" speech. with katie's kind personality and sweet spirit - i know her post-graduation life will be an amazing one. wishing you all the best!

mean gene is over the hill... twice!

two weeks ago the one and only gene sledge turned 80. i was lucky enough to be included in the celebration and given the honor of documenting this momentous occasion... more photos coming soon, but here's one of the birthday boy. :)

sweet baby lou.

congratulations to aaron and andrea on the arrival of this precious little girl! lou's newborn session was special for so many reasons... one of them being the bed in these photos belonged to aaron's grandmother. lou was so great during the session -- i shot for almost an hour before she'd decided that she'd had enough. that's a record! and aaron and andrea are future in-laws of an earlier client, dillon. so fun! thanks aaron & andrea for allowing me to capture these precious moments for you.

recruitment photos... sneak peek.

here are two of my favorite from quick sessions in midland... page and alex are too cute!

cody & jacci

i love sessions with old friends. it's totally 2 for 1. i get to do what i love most - photograph couples in love - and i get to do what i love second most - talk! :)
jacci and cody were so much fun. they were very patient with me while i was having trouble coming up with new locations... i don't shoot in midland very often! but i will say that some wandering paid off... we found a pump jack very close to downtown which is fitting since cody is working on his masters in petroleum engineering at texas a&m. every photo from this session emanates love, friendship and a closeness that is so inspiring. congrats, you two!
